Friends
Beth - A high school friend with whom I’ve been able to stay in touch through our blogs. Like me, she shares a love of computers, coding, and web design. Completely surpassing me on the coding aspect, she’s going to Plymouth State University as an IT major.
Natalie - Another high school friend who I’ve been able to keep in touch with through our blogs. Cooincidently (or maybe not) she’s going into computers for her career as well. She’s currently finishing school at North Carolina State, and the lucky wench already has a possible job once she graduates.
Nathan - Corey’s college friend who I keep in touch with a little through our blogs. Do you see a common theme? Computers are a shared interest as well.
Working Title - Corey’s untouched writing project. It was intended to be a NaNoWriMo project, but became too stressful to continue. Maybe he’ll pick it up again some day, because I’m anxious to know what happens next.
Cade - A friend of mine and Corey’s with whom Corey went to college. He’s become my design consultant (heh) when I’m trying to work out layouts page designs.
Tiffany’s Photos - Another friend from high school who doesn’t have a very big presence online. We e-mail every once in a while to keep in touch, and visit once a year or so.
Daniela’s Art - Friend and co-worker who I’ve helped set up a website for her art.
Silent Ages - Our DnD Game (Corey, Me, Cade, Katie, Bridget, Nathan, and Adam)
- Corey’s new food blog. This site combines two of his loves: food and writing. This is one step on his path to culinary school next summer.
Great Stuff
Adagio Teas - I’m a lover of tea, and I have fallen in love with Adagio’s teas. They have a good variety (black, reds, greens, flavored, herbal), and good quality loose leaf teas. Ask nicely and I may send you a $5 gift certificate.
Questionable Content - An interesting web comic for geeks/indie/etc. I don’t normally read web comics, but this one is quite funny. I can relate!
Librivox - A repository of audio recordings of public domain texts. I wrote more about it in this post.
