High School Holocaust Education
May 7, 2008 - 10:57 am PDT
This is what makes me frustrated with Holocaust history education in grade school…
First, he does not mention the homosexuals, mentally and physically disabled, gypsies and other people who were just plain different that were every bit victims of the holocaust as Jews were. The Holocaust wasn’t just an attempt to wipe out the Jewish people.

Buying books is painful?
January 13, 2006 - 5:39 pm PST
Normally I would completely disagree with the above statement. Even if we were talking about buying books for a class (and we are) I would disagree with the above statement, because the last few classes that I’ve taken have been in subjects that I enjoy. I found one of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Alice and Wonderland, and the Sherlock Holmes books. It turned out that the Sherlock Holmes audio books were quite the find, because it seems to be regularly updated [...]

October 24, 2005 - 11:47 am PDT
I just read a post at Meyerweb.com about Eric Meyer teaching his new baby sign language. She’s not deaf, yet they decided to do this in order to communicate with her before she developed her speech capabilities. He started with something called baby signs, and eventually started teaching her ASL. I found this really interesting, [...]
