Being around flowers all day is just really pleasant. I’m constantly wanting to stare at them, draw them, embroider likenesses of them when I get home. I want to take some home with me every day, of course I couldn’t afford that.

July 3rd, 2005 @ 10:20 pm ESTBridget worked at a plant shop for a while as the “Watering Fairy.” While that wasn’t her official title, she was introduced to EVERYONE that way. She absolutely loved it. She still talks about it sometimes, and wishes she could still work there.
I worked at a plant nursery for about 2 weeks, and hated it. My boss sucked, and I had to bike seven miles each way to and from work, just to work eight hours of hard labor. *shudder*
“Put this several wheelbarrows of mulch here. Now that you’ve done that, I forgot to tell you not to ACTUALLY put them there, so move them over here. I don’t care if you get covered in ants in the process, do it.”
