CJD Notepad

I decided to try out a newly released ;wordpress extension that allows you to write notes (similar to writing a draft, page, or post). [CJD Notepad](http://www.chrisjdavis.org/2005/06/20/cjd-notepad-release/). I thought this might be a cool idea, and whether or not I’ll use it I tried to install it. There was one unfortuante problem with this idea. The extension wasn’t made to work on a blog who’s index is different from the wordpress files directory. After trying to tweak the code, I gave up last night in about ten minutes.
I spent another ten minutes today trying to get it to work, and it was a fairly easy fix. I had to add /blog to the address pointing to edit-note.php in about five instances, and that was the fix. Now I have this cool extension with which I can write notes for myself in WordPress. Who knows if I have any use for this, but the slight (very small) challenge was part of the reason I committed to installing it.
