It’s amazing how fast babies change, when they’re ready. Just in the last few days, Katie has been walking on her own without support. She started off with distances of a few feet, lunging herself at me when she knew I’d catch her. Then she would take a few steps toward me. Now she’ll just walk a short distance sometimes because it’s quicker than using furniture. She doesn’t do it all the time, but I’m still surprised sometimes when she does it.
Today she really surprised me when she just stood there, right on camera. No holding onto anything until the end..
